Why everyone stops here
Snow Beach is the wide sun deck spread out below the ranch house, and it is the reason a one-hour lunch at Gorrono routinely becomes three. Chairs face south into the sun and out at the Wilsons, the music plays on the deck rather than through a speaker in a corner, and nobody minds that you are still wearing your boots.

Live music runs through the season and turns the deck into the loudest, happiest lunch on the mountain.
